Why is this Important?

The Bytyqi Brothers story is a window into a much larger problem.  In Serbia, there are many unresolved war crimes and the “big fish” escape accountability.  The Bytyqi Brothers case can be a vehicle to shine a light on the need for the Serbian government to fully come to terms with its past.  In so doing, thousands and thousands of victims and their families can get the closure they deserve, including the Bytyqi family.
